3 : to cause to become reddish brown : turn the color of rust

Rusting presents an guide to appreciating, measuring and perceiving time through the exploration and exposure of the built environment to the natural environment.

As one force struggles to slowly defend or attack the other. This struggle takes place on the largest and smallest of scales.

We can perceive this struggle, as it becomes a finite moment within a larger lifespan. This moment allows us to measure a material, in time as well as space. Our interaction, our act of realizing this gap will be referred to as a condition of rusting.
